One of the most respected and innovative companies designing rowers is Kettler. This German based company has been a pioneer in rowing machine design and are always improving their rowers. Here are the different Kettler rowing machines available:

The Kettler X-Row E3
This is the latest in Kettler’s initiative to provide the very best rowers to the most demanding indoor rowing enthusiasts and those who know how beneficial rowing is to their health. They are rated for commercial use but are available for home use.

The X-Row E3 has many new features that sets it apart from the competition. It has a maximum power wattage of 500 watts of very quiet and efficient electro-magnetic resistance to challenge even the most demanding of rowers. It offers a very unique wireless transmitter in the handle bar to alter and change your workout without having to stop the machine. Also included with this Kettler rowing machine is a wireless heart rate monitor, with included polar chest strap, and large display SIEMENS VGA and LCD display with 48 built in programs. You can even do pulse training and choose a range for your fitness and fat burning zones. There is an included USB to download interactive software and new programs as they are designed.

The design and new integrated engineering features of the X-Row E3 is where this rower really stands out. The eSYS system allows for bio-mechanical and perfect electronic adjustment seamlessly. Kettler’s new Induktions Brake System offers 95 levels of resistance using electro-magnetic resistance to have absolutely no wear and tear on the brake system components. The foot plates are very comfortable offering a natural pivot for a longer smoother range of motion. The seat also has a new ball bearing design with a dual linear guidance system for a smooth silky rowing motion.

The warranty on this Kettler rowing machined differs slightly depending on its application. For home use it has a lifetime warranty on the frame, three year parts (including electronics) and 2 years labour. For commercial use it has lifetime warranty on the frame, two year parts (including electronics) and 1 year labour.

Kettler Coach
The Coach line of Kettler rowing machines comes in two different models, the Coach LS and the Ergo Coach LS.

The Kettler Coach LS is a total body machine that also provides 16 resistance exercises using  the included Quick Attack foot plate and backboard. It uses a balanced magnetic brake system for variable resistance. The large LCD displays workout time, oar strokes, cadence, calories burned and heart rating monitoring available by the included Polar heart rate transmitter.

The Ergo Coach LS offers many improvements and is rated for commercial use . Like the X-Row E3, the Ergo Coach LS offers the Kettler eSYS and the Induktions Brake Sytems. The only difference is that the top resistance is 400 watts again powered by electro-magnetic resistance and there are 75 different resistance levels.

Like the Coach LS this Kettler rowing machine also offers additional resistance exercises with the included attachments. It also included wireless heart rate monitoring, and an improved SIEMENS display with a USB interface to download software and new programs.

Kettler Kadett and Kettler Favorit
These Kettler rowing machines are attractively priced smaller rowers with small footprints ideal for those who do not have a lot of space but still want a quality rowing machine. They both use hydraulic cylinders for resistance which can be manually adjusted.  The Kadett has unique sculling rowing arms for added feel of rowing on water. Both the Favorit and Kadett have large LCD displays to provide feedback while working out including heart rate monitoring via the supplied ear bud.

These Kettler rowers also have ball bear mounted sliding sears, rotating foot straps and excellent home warranties including lifetime on the frame and 3 years on parts and electronics.
